Properties
• TF 45 provides medium to low fiber / metal friction
• It also creates good filament cohesion due to the medium fiber / fiber friction.
• Product is sufficiently thermo stable and has good wetting properties for PP material
• it is suitable for high speed CF machines
Field of application
TF 45 can be applied neat as well as an aqueous emulsion during the spinning of CF yarns on the high speed processes.
Application
TF 45 can be applied neat by dosing systems like gear pumps. An application as an aqueous solution via kiss rolls or dosing systems is also possible.
The solution is prepared by pouring TF 45 into water at room temperature while stirring The solution should be protected by adding a bioacid.
Emulsion concentration: 15 – 25 %
Recommended oil pick-up level is: 1.2 + 0.2 % o.w.f
The finish level is determined by extraction with petrol ether / ethanol or petrol ether / isopropanol (1:2).
Spesial remarks
Storage stability at least 12 months
we recommend a storage temperature of 15– 350c.
